FO echo when reading after TO checklist

Featured Replies

Hello againThis time I have a strange echo from the FO when I call for the "after takeoff checklist." The response is as it should be only it repeats after a few seconds. I don't know what could be the cause. Any ideas?

Tough to say... as per my other post:Perhaps you're pushing your system too hard?Try it in a less CPU intensive area away from too much AI traffic, 3d party scenery, etc. Also, be sure to update your sound drivers. If you can, try sending me a video. If I could "see and hear" it would make it easier.Best,

my copilot does the same and he is not taking gear down and when i say flaps five het set it to ten and a lot other things that do not workbryan its not always the systems but there are some bugs in the program which a patch could deal with i have used the program foe 14 days now and i decide to give up today i contactet the ground crew for pushback and then he just starts the engines i did not told him to do thatand that is not because of my system!!!!!!!

DENMARK1 When you say Flaps 5 what does it say in the white text at the top ? when im about to take off or coming into land i bring up the Flap/gear window so i can see the flaps / gear move into position .. i found out that on my PC if i dont have this window open during take off and i call flaps up the FO wont move the gear to off (737 PIC Version) , give it a go Failing that when you get time try some more voice training, it might be the SR not picking up your voice correctly hence why i asked what was said in the text at the top . Dont give up on it mate , its fantastic Rich

Did you run the voice training? We have a large user base, and I can't reproduce that and others aren't reporting it. I can easily fix bugs, but I have to be able to experience the bug before I can fix it.Again, run the voice training again. It sounds like your saying commands/phrases and the speech engine is detecting something different other than what you are saying. What does the Green Bar show when you issue voice commands? Also be sure to use a decent headset and try to eliminate background noise. Also, be sure to watch the demo and training videos.FS2Crew 737 Voice Commander Demo/Training VideosBest,

HI BRYAN. ihave used voice training a lot look im also using rc4 and ai sound for my aircrafts i wont fly without rc4 its brillianti have a very good headset i have a gamecom platronics it cost me 150$.the greenbar did not show anything yesterday or the day before when i said gear down i said it VERY clear when i say flaps five it sometimes shows flaps 10, he hears it allways when i say gear up and flaps up that stranges right.anyway i will take som more voice training to see if it helps.thanks for your answers.
I don't know how think your accent is... but sometime if your accent is thick, try speaking with an American accent.I've found that that can sometimes help.Did you watch the videos?Best,

I was thinking about your reported echo with some sounds. The FO commands are running on a separate thread. So if you ask the FO to make an autopilot change, for example, and then ask him to set the flaps, he won't set the flaps until he has completed the first task.Perhaps your stacking too many commands right after each other?See if that makes a difference for you.So don't issue a new command until the FO has completed the first command.Cheers,
