January 18, 201016 yr I have now had this happen to me more than a couple of times where despite having saved a flight, which I regularly do at various stages of a flight just in case I get a CTD,when FS9 re-starts at the point of a crash, the saved flight cannot be re-enacted because of an error pointing to fscrew.gauge error, and FS9 promptly shuts down again, and re-starts again. Is there a way around this to get to the saved flight?RICK Rick Almeida

Also only save from the 2D cockpit, not the VC.That's probably it.Best, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
January 18, 201016 yr Author Hi Rick,When saving a flight, ensure all FS2Crew panels are closed, not visible. Also only save from the 2D cockpit, not the VC.That's probably it.Best,Thank you for your propmpt reply Bryan. All FS2Crew panels were in fact shut down as I was on the threshold about to land in snowy conditions at night at UAAA with an Air Astana Level-D 767-300ER repaint,so prefer not to have anything blocking my view except for the Main Button and Secondary Buttons being active.Unfortunately due to the weather and the poor runway lighting I ended up hitting the front too hard and of course, inevitably pranged.Having saved the flight just before the threshold,I could not pick up again at the same juncture which is when I got that error message. But I will re-try your tip next flight and see if the same error message flags.RICK Rick Almeida
January 20, 201016 yr Author Hi Rick,When saving a flight, ensure all FS2Crew panels are closed, not visible. Also only save from the 2D cockpit, not the VC.That's probably it.Best, Hi BryanTried to save a flight,at the gate,in a cold and dark setting,so I could pick up the same flight later,as I had an FS2Crew unruly passenger scenario divert. All FS2Crew panels were shut, and I only ever use 2D anyway,as I flew the diversion manually. When I tried to pick up the flight later,I could load the same cold and dark flight in an external view, but the minute I try to use the cockpit view,FS9 shuts down to a black screen and I get an fscrew38.gau error.Hope this sheds more light on this error.
