Frame Rate Friendly 3D Clouds?

Featured Replies

Hi all. I am new to the forums and I make YouTube videos (http://www.youtube.com/user/airbusandmustang). I like to make them as realistic as possible. I was hoping if there were any frame rate friendly 3D clouds (detailed clouds) that anyone knows of. I have a mid-high system but can't seem to run the 3D clouds. Any help?? :(

If you're going to use them, make sure you use the DXT low resolution clouds to keep it fps friendly (I believe it comes with the different versions of clouds)

I got the Oscar Clouds and they work great! It's only with an overcast that frames drop noticably. :( :( :(
