January 30, 201016 yr Does it have 3 stage virtual cockpit lighting? Dome, backlight gauges, both?I enjoy the quality of CLS, it isn't PMDG systems wise but they do a good job of a fun experience flying a jumbo without the complication of checklists.
February 4, 201016 yr Author I'm excited!Tomorrow morning I am invited to drive to a nearby city to a flight simmers home who built a Boeing cockpit mockup in his basement. He is going to show me how to fly the Level D 767 as well as programming the FMC, performing the checklists, the ups and downs, the ends and outs and in-betweens. He just sent me the checklists and procedures we will be practising. How in the world will I be able to sleep tonight?Stephen
February 4, 201016 yr If i may just put my opinion in, learning how to start up an aircraft can be hard, it took me a while to be able to start up the CS 757 from cold and dark however now i can do it in the time it takes to get IFR clearance (excluding FMC) and sometimes if you are at large airports on a long stretch of taxiway i sometimes program the FMC while taxiing. Gets you in the air just as quick and you have the satisfaction of actually starting the aircraft up. February 5, 201016 yr Well, setting up the 757/767 (even the 737) should be no biggie after a couple of dedicated flights. It's not like it is a 707 or 727 :( As already stated above, the LVLD is a very fine choice for a 767 simulation. I have it, and when I fly it, I have no remorses.BTW, how about the always astounding MD-80? :( Ed OcampoStaff ReviewerAVSIM Online[email protected]Fly DC Jets
