January 29, 201016 yr Bought the Ariane package a while ago, but wasn't happy with it. Biggest dissapointment were the slideshow like gauges. The speedtape and the altitude tape on the PFD don't go anywhere near smooth, but jump from value to value. With my new computer, I had good hopes this would be solved, but unfortunately, the gauges still don't go smooth. Is there a way to solve this? Regards, Frank van der Werff

January 30, 201016 yr This is one of the biggest stumbling points of the Ariane. The low gauge refresh rate (and the fact hardly any liveries are availbale) actually prompts me to go buy the PMDG 737... January 30, 201016 yr There's no way to solve the issue really. Some folk have reported that editing out the first officers gauges in the panel.cfg has helped a little, although it made no difference for me.Seeing as the 2d popup gauges are so smooth, I've never understood why they can't just be sized and positioned correctly to display over the PFD and ND. Sure they wouldn't look as well integrated as the proper ones, but it would make things much easier with regard to actually flying the aircraft. As annoying as this is, it is still trivial compared to the pathetic nav data. That truly makes the 737 unusable for me. Dammed if I'll pay for their upcoming navdata editor either. i7 2600k @ 5.1Ghz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600Mhz, EVGA GTX 580 @ 950MHz, OCZ Vertex II 240GB, ASUS Xonar DG, Thermaltake Toughpower XT 875W PSU, Antec KÜHLER 620 W/C, Corsair 600T SE White My FS9 Screens - http://fs9screens.blogspot.com/ Callum Richardson
January 30, 201016 yr True, true, the lack of good, up-to-date navdata is another irritation. There really are no really good up-to-date 737s for FS9, you know... I mean, not in the league of the PMDG MD-11 or PMDG 747. There are only two options, and both lack in one or more departments (the PMDG 737 lacks in the visual department, and I read it doesn't simulate IRS alignment).
