February 4, 201016 yr I am one or those Nvidia users who had disappointing results with Nvidia drivers later than 182.50. I stopped trying new Nvidia drivers 2 or 3 months ago, but I am wondering if any of the very newest Nvidia drivers ever solved the problem. Has anyone with the 182.50 issue tried any of the very newest Nvidia drivers? How did they work out?GeoffreyQ6600, 8800 Ultra, XP Pro SP3, FSX Acceleration

Unless you're playing a new game that is addressed by a new nvidia driver, there is no need to update. - Red E8500 @ 4.1 | EVGA 275GTX (overclocked) | 2x2GB Mushkin Enhanced Redline @ 1066 | Samsung 24inch LCD @ 1920x1080 |
February 5, 201016 yr 182.50 WHQL, are still the best drivers for FS. Good IQ, high fps, smooth. Latest 190 series , were terible in my system. I had CTD with E-Jets from Wilco, because a gdi+ issue...in XP with FS9.Best.Miquel.
February 5, 201016 yr I had CTD with E-Jets from Wilco, because a gdi+ issue...in XP with FS9.Yeah I get that exactly that too, but I don't think Battlefield Bad Company 2 will work with 182.5, well it didn't when I tried it anyway :( .Edit: Oops, not exactly that, but I do get the same thing with the new Feelthere 135/145 V2 in FSX with 196.21 Cheers, Andy.

I haven't been able to benchmark any significant decrease or increase in average fps in FSX. No difference in smoothness. Have never had any driver related issues in FSX.
February 5, 201016 yr I always prefer new drivers. Unfortunately 190 series, in my system, fps seemed right, but the Wilco E-jets with 190 series produced a CTD in XP and FS9. I look for an answer until i discovered that soemeone with the same problem, pointed to the drivers as culprit. He was right. Going back to 182.50 discoveredt that were faster, too.I could test the ac in JKF , for example and the same scene , with the same weather...produce 39-42 fps, with 192.50, 49-52 fps. I can only talk about FS. Other games , i have no idea. FSX, is something i don
