February 5, 201016 yr I had to do a reinstall to FSX, and when I finished reinstalling all of my add-ons, the Wilco E-Jets wouldn't display any of their corresponding thumbnails. Additionally, every time I start FSX it says: "There are multiple objects with the same title name. They must have unique title names." What should I do? I've tried everything I can think of -- reinstalling FSX again, and making sure any folders FSX-related are erased completely. But It didn't seem to help.
February 5, 201016 yr Moderator Not sure this will fix your problem, but I have read of people doing this in the past and having it cause problems. When you uninstalled FSX did you run the Wilco E-Jets uninstaller? With most addons you cant just go and delete the folder/folders containing them, you have to run their uninstallers before uninstalling FSX. Really if you plan to do an uninstall and reinstall of FSX its best to find all your addon sceneries and planes and run their uninstallers, if they have them. What I am thinking is when you removed FSX but didn't uninstall the E-Jets package it wrote an entry to your registry that is causing problems when you try to install it again. However, if thats not the case and you did properly uninstall everything, including E-Jets then I cant think of a solution. I do remember a post similar to that problems and if I can find it I will post it here.Personally, I have installed and uninstalled the E-Jets package a few times and never run into that problem. Look for the following line ,,,title=(Embraer 170 house) for example with out the brackets, it is usually under the [fltsim.x] entry. x being 0 thru however many textures you have configured. Double check that they dont have the same title name. If you find one just change it a little. That will fix that problem. Regards, Dave Opper HiFi Support Manager

I was thinking that he has duplicate entries, so if he looks in the file, possibly toward the bottom, he'll see a new set of fltsim thingees that can be deleted. Obviously, he should check to make sure he's leaving a valid set in the file.
