  1. Actually, it works with any plane (purportedly): Product pageBut you're right that it comes with a few of their planes, so if you want one of those planes too, might as well get the bundle.
  2. There might be an option in FSPax to ignore that, but otherwise they wouldn't want you doing that, lest you reopen the flight and continue after messing something up.
  3. 1) were other gauges functioning properly?2) Did you finish the flight normally and see if the FSPax report mentioned it?3) did you hear any cues from the Copilot saying "I think we're having a gauge problem" or something?Basically, if FSPax caused a failure, it would let you know.
  4. Sounds kind of fishy to me. They cannot take your money and not deliver the goods. In fact, there are companies who say that they will ONLY offer refunds when activation has not or cannot take place.I'm curious as to what he means by affiliates. Is he talking about something like eSellerate? A voluntary refund by a developer should not (I believe) cause any type of retribution or negative consequence. A chargeback initiated by you with your credit card company would/could, however. And what does he mean by an interrogation?I would give them a time frame for a resolution, or at least progress towards a resolution, then do a chargeback if you're not satisfied. Amex/MC/Visa would also probably be interested in his practices with regard to their cards. Also, if your problem is with the Addons menu, you might want to check out the dll.xml file and make sure it's properly formed (run it through a XML validator). There may be some unclosed tag or something.
  5. Also check your Addons menu for missing items. When the dll.xml gets corrupted (or other problems occur), some things disappear from that menu. I normally have 8 or so items so if I see that there's only 2, I know something is wonky and not everything is loaded properly. Also check the Wilco forums (http://forum.iemit.com/) and the old forum there (iemit.com/forum) for similar posts. I've seen it there several times with a variety of suggestions.
  6. What he said...But I'll add that you could take the dll.xml's contents and run 'em through a XML validator on the web, and you'll see if one of the nodes were not closed properly.
  7. That's funny. It's today's Deal of the Day. :)http://www.flightsimdealoftheday.com/produ...p?productid=730
  8. I think it might be Madeira, which also has a runway on stilts.
  9. You have to enable it in the 737 Config Utility, which you should find under the Start menu > All Programs > <wherever your copy is installed> (it varies depending on where/how you bought it
  10. Check their forums. (www.iemit.com) THere are lots of suggestions there, mostly in the vein of clean installs of FSX, or the plane, etc. Also, I deleted my fsx.cfg recently when nothing else worked, and shortly thereafter the gauges came back.
  11. in FSX, go to the Controls settings, select the G25 and delete all the axes assignments.
  12. I was thinking that he has duplicate entries, so if he looks in the file, possibly toward the bottom, he'll see a new set of fltsim thingees that can be deleted. Obviously, he should check to make sure he's leaving a valid set in the file.
  13. I hope more people try this because AP Chart is a pain in the butt to use and the developer is nowhere to be found. I've been looking for an alternative since I use Radar Contact and can't always use progressive taxi.
  14. Flightplans go in here: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\feelThere\CustomDB\
  15. This is also may happen with FSInn/FSCopilot installed. The DLL is in the Modules folder; if you remove it, the problem goes away.
  16. You might need to set the scenery option higher. I forget what's called, but it's under Display -> Scenery and the options are things like Sparse, Very Sparse, Dense, and Very Dense. Then again, it might not apply to certain addon scenery
  17. Thanks for looking at this. I'll see if I can "fix" those plan files. What's strange is that RC couldn't read the plan created by FSX. Were you able to tell why it didn't see the waypoints?
  18. I have a route .pln created by my VA. If I try to load it, I get an error 5 and RC shuts down. If I load the plan into FSX, then save it (making it XML-style), RC will accept it, but doesn't see any waypoints. It says: KCLT to KBWI@29000 (Alt1-, Alt2-) / ....... *RVSMI"ve includedeach version of the plan.Created from VA website: [flightplan]title=KCLT to KBWIdescription=KCLT, KBWItype = IFRroutetype = 3cruising_altitude=29000departure_id=KCLT, N35* 12.84', W80* 56.59', 000748.00destination_id=KBWI, N39* 10.52', W76* 40.10', 000146.00departure_position=GATE 28departure_name=CHARLOTTE-DOUGLAS_INTLdestination_name=BALTIMORE/WASH_THURGOOD_MARSHAwaypoint.0=KCLT, A, N35* 12.84', W80* 56.59', +000000.00waypoint.1=MERIL, I, N35* 36.79', W79* 26.03', +000000.00waypoint.2=RDU, V, N35* 52.35', W78* 47.00', +000000.00waypoint.3=RIC, V, N37* 30.14', W77* 19.22', +000000.00waypoint.4=PEGBY, I, N38* 4.72', W77* 12.06', +000000.00waypoint.5=SABBI, I, N38* 22.91', W77* 8.25', +000000.00waypoint.6=NICCO, I, N38* 30.88', W76* 58.59', +000000.00waypoint.7=OTT, I, N38* 42.35', W76* 44.68', +000000.00waypoint.8=KBWI, A, N39* 10.52', W76* 40.10', +000000.00 Created by FSX: CODE <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><SimBase.Document Type="AceXML" version="1,0"> <Descr>AceXML Document</Descr> <FlightPlan.FlightPlan> <Title>KCLT to KBWI</Title> <FPType>IFR</FPType> <RouteType>HighAlt</RouteType> <CruisingAlt>29000</CruisingAlt> <DepartureID>KCLT</DepartureID> <DepartureLLA>N35
  19. The one that you're quoting is the military themed pack, I believe. It's not really meant for "civilian travel". I'm quite certain that if you were on an actual military transport, you would not be hearing lines like those told by Southwest FAs. It's one of 5 or so default voice packs, and one of who-knows-how-many additional voice packs you can download from the FSPax site. If you don't like it, change it back and/or download some other ones.
  20. I got it resolved by locating an identical simconnect dll that Remote FMS was looking for (luckily another app included a copy of that version) and dropping it into the Remote FMS folder.
  21. Thanks for that... Here's how it went:1) Repair FSX2) Run SP1 installer3) Launch FSX to test the addons4) Google Earth Tracker (which wasn't having any problems) said it needs simconnect but that wasn't installed, and offered to install it.5) Installed SimConnect6) Launching FSX would trigger dxdiag for some reason (it error'ed looking for a drive in drive E).7) Ran SP2 installer, which only offered to remove, so I did it (strange because I was supposedly at SP1)8) Ran SP2 installer again, successful install9) SuperTrafficBoard is now working, but RemoteFMS still is giving the error. Also I had moved out the Simconnect files I created. Do I need those or can I just delete them?
  22. Hey all,I'm trying to get some add-ons working on a new computer, but I'm getting errors in each saying that SimConnect could not be found. I don't own the Deluxe version but I've had these working on another computer. Notes:1) I had installed FSX, SP1, SP2 (firing it up once after each install). 2) This is WinXP running under BootCamp (Snow Leopard)3) I remember doing some stuff like creating xml and cfg files, but that didn't work this time. Maybe I did it wrong and/or maybe I've left something out this time.4) For reference, the ones i"m having problems with are RemoteFMS and SuperTrafficBoard. I had 'em working under Vista.5) FSX and these programs are on the same computer6) Windows firewall is off. Thanks for any help y'all can provide. :)Josh
  23. Also make sure you have the latest version of FSUIPC
  24. I flew over my apartment and discovered that while the scenery is pretty generic (it's like MS put down a repeating pattern of wallpaper), the roads are actually accurate. I saw the Five Points thing North of me, and the irregular (not at 90 degrees) intersection South of me.
  25. What options do you get? What happens if you right-click on other panels (windshield, main panel, throttle quadrant,etc..)?
