August 3, 201015 yr Hi everyone. Is there a gauge out there for inflight information in FSX? I tried one out from the AVSIM Library but it seems to be in its beta stages and has quite a few bugs in it.I'm looking for a gauge similar to this real-life screen: That is, one that shows your position on a map, the local times at your destination and origin, and present location if possible, ETA, and all the flight data (ground speed, altitude, etc.) in both metric and US Customary units. It would be awesome if it alternated languages depending on your destination and origin and airline as well, but that's probably a long ways off.I apologize for sounding so picky. :( But thanks to all in advance! August 3, 201015 yr Author Thanks for the speedy replies guys,I'll have to seriously consider this gauge if I can't find anything else, it looks spectacular. Does it switch between metric and US Units as well?Is there also a freeware gauge like this anywhere? Thanks again! August 3, 201015 yr There's one similar to that in Aerosim's recent FSX airliners, such as their B747-400D. It alternates between Japanese text and English text for the flight info. If I recall correctly, I think the Wilco B737 has a similar gauge too, but since it isn't installed in my FS at the moment I can't check that.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

August 3, 201015 yr Actually, it works with any plane (purportedly): Product page does work with any aircraft. a work-around is required for some users of PMDG's because of the multiple panel overlays. the panel.cfg edit required is posted on the MAP! support forum -http://forum.iemit.comthere are actually two 'MAP!' products -*MAP! works on a single computer.*MAP! network edition allows one to use a client computer, connected to the FS 'host' computer, to see the map/information display across a home network.visually both are the same. only if you wish to see MAP! on a different computer than you 'FS' is network edition necessary.--If I recall correctly, I think the Wilco B737 has a similar gaugethe wilco/feelThere 737classics don't come with MAP.-- D.
