Hi,1. How do you use the reversers ? Key F2 or joystick setup ? with F2 holding until the reversers are fully out the spoilers should work...2. Yes it seems so, I take the SID and delete the SID waypoints in the FP, when I not need them.BestSteffen

If you are not going to use a SID, then there is no reason to tell the FMS which runway you are using for departure. It does nothing with that information. Just start you route at the airport then the first enroute fix.

As per the actual GNS-XLS manual, on the initialization page, you have the ability to select the departure runway. Not having the JS41, I don't know if PMDG's version does this, but the real one does.

I've got the manual too, but the simulated FMS only has the basic features. We only see the runway options when selecting a departure on the FPLN screen. If you are not using a departure there is no need to go to the departure screen.

1. FMS - thanks for the advice. Thats answers my question.2. Spoiler - i have my joystick configured through FSUIPC to select and hold F2 to select reverse. I will try it manually and see if that works.Thanks for the advice

Also try using F1 on touch down to force idle thrust, then hold F2 until full reverse is engaged.
