Ultimate Alaska X?

Featured Replies

Anybody have this exciting looking scenery? I'm tempted since I really flying Alaska and the Tongass Fjords. Having been to Alaska on a cruise, I've fallen in love with this incredible land mass. Please let me know how the scenery works and how it affects performance. The screenshots look good.Stan

Stan,It's a must have hands down. It will transform Alaska and was built ro run alongside Tongass Fjords. Performance hit on your system will be minimal if any (UTX Alaska is also highly configurable). Read through this thread in the UTX forum lots of before and after comparisons.http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=33066Regards,Bob

It's a terrific scenery and wonderful for exploring the entire state including the Aleutian Islands. However, I see much more than a minimal frame rate hit. The two heaviest scenery areas (Anchorage and Fairbanks) drag my frames down to low teens. I am able to use the very detailed scenery configurator to keep the frames up, but feel I'm missing the full experience. I certainly recommend it. Bob.. :)

Will steal a few frames but is configurable. Definitely worth having. Great scenery!
