Man Builds Model A380 from LEGOs

Featured Replies

A man from Australia, and also a former airline pilot built a model Airbus A380-800 in the Qantas livery from LEGOs. He built it in his garage and the model is 7ft wide and 6ft long. The model is a cutaway so you can see inside the airplane and see the life of the passengers, and you may even see a movie scene from a movie that takes place on a plane (Hint: Look at the bottom near the cargo bay in the pictures and look at the snakes). Looks like this will spark some interest in airplanes for youngsters :(LINK: http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology...on/4346192.html------------------------------------------------EDIT: Link was wrong sorry, here is the correct one:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/article-...nt-Chicago.html

Your link took me to a Popular Mechanics article on 'The World's 18 Strangest Airports' - very interesting, but nothing about a Lego A380. Unless I'm doing something wrong, which is very possible.

Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)

Love it !!I would say that his model is closer to the real thing than a certain "Counting Frame " A380 payware release. :(

enjoyed both links! thanks.
