Extended Pushback?

Featured Replies

Has anybody else experienced an extended pushback? I had it happen first after installing Squawkbox. I set the FS2CREW .cfg panel for a 160 ft. push, and the crew rolled me out halfway across the feild. I lowered the distance to 80 feet and things returned to normal for awhile. Last night I needed a longer push, and it started pushing me way too far again. I hit shift+P to stop it. I completed after start check and taxi check, then I hear the ground crew call for set brakes, and push resumes!Anybody else had anything like this? Solution? Thanks,Greg D.

Hi Greg,Set the pushback to the minimum distance. The FSX pushback truck has a tendency to make a slow turn (compared to FS9 at least), resulting in a longer apparent distance traveled. You can use the voice command: "Stop Pushback" to command the start crew to stop the push if you're getting pushed too far.
