How on earth can your EICAS report a TAT of +43C and SAT of -51C???? Ryan Kelly
March 4, 201016 yr Author How on earth can your EICAS report a TAT of +43C and SAT of -51C????That's the problem. I am in the air in FL330 with a TAT of -20 and SAT of -51 and immediately the TAT jumps to +43, this situation out of control my speed causing problems of N1 in my Turbine. If this situation occurs again in future I will take more information of Metar.

If this situation occurs again in future I will take more information of Metar. Yes but shouldnt the SAT rise too given that they are related? Im not sure which airbus you are using FSX or 3rd party, but perhaps yours is generating a placebo SAT number. Im not denying that you have an issue with erroneous upper level temps, rather Im just attempting to understand what Im seeing on your EICAS Ryan Kelly
March 4, 201016 yr Author Today, FP Brazil, 13 minutes of stress :( - problem TAT again: TAT -23 jump TAT +37. This situation out of control my speed causing problems of N1 in my Turbine and when the true TAT return I have problem de Overspeed. My clock system:Problem Init 6:13 pmReturn True TAT 6:18 pmStabilized (speed 0.80 FL360) 6:26 pmThe pictures speak for themselves:I Press botom REFRESH in ASE: I hope that with these data and images to help you investigate. March 5, 201016 yr Hi,I would like you to try with a default plane and nothing but ASE and FS running.
March 5, 201016 yr Author HiI do not understand "a default plane", without IVAO and without FSpassenger???
March 5, 201016 yr yet it happened to me too ......... :( Above Catania Fontanarossa, 300 IAS cruise speed, 11,000 feet, 737-400 default FS9..... suddenly TAT from +11 to +34, overspeed, disappearance of the clouds
March 5, 201016 yr Actually I have read whtat the TAF says there... Clouds at unknown level of 0 feet. This points to old issue with clouds abing drawn at... below levels -200, -500 etc...SP3 to me :) Tom Link
March 5, 201016 yr Author This is the flight plane what I get the TAT error (the last 2 days) Unknown if this always happens in this plan.SBFL-SBBR (UW19 CTB UW6 BRS) in FL360 or FL370Ints in the FP loading in ASE (Briefing).SBFL-DONI-AGURI-GLOVE-DELAY-CTB-DOMIN-GALES-ATEBO-ORDEA-BAURU-HARDY-ASTOB-PASTE-FRAIL-BEANO-PAGUE-IRULA-SBBRPlease can someone try this route.Thank you
March 6, 201016 yr ST, TAF data is not being processed at all as far as I know.A default plane is a plane that came with FSX--not a plane you added your self.Yes without IVAO and FSP and without any IVAO software running.
March 7, 201016 yr Author Hi, I have several days testing in Brazilian territory :( . Some areas occur the jumps of TAT Temp :( , sometimes not :( . I am currently testing with this FSUIPC options TemperatureSmoothness and PressureSmoothness. I will report the results to future after making several long flights in Brazil B) .Josman
March 9, 201016 yr Commercial Member Hi,There is a known issue with FOG LAYER GENERATION that may be causing some continuing TAT and weather spikes. If you are having such a problem please try disabling fog layer generation. We are actively working on a solution. Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
