March 7, 201016 yr I have simply installed ASA and FSUIPC, and I haven't noticed any issues with either unregistered or registered FSUIPC. This is also the first time I've Art
March 8, 201016 yr Commercial Member To get very specific, I have a problem when using ASA, and still have with ASE, with pulsating wind shifts (every second) when flying at the same level as clouds. It's usually okay below the cloud level. I've made every change possible to ASA settings with no cure. However, removing the FSUIPC4.dll file from the modules folder cures it. With the FSUIPC unregistered version, the only option is to click on the weather off button, which doesn't help. I don't know if configuration options in the registered version can help or not.An unregistered FSUIPC4 never touches anything to do with the weather, and it most certainly does not interfere with ASX, ASA or ASE's SimConnect links, which I've always used and kept up to date. A registered install of FSUIPC can help with wind smoothing, but that has to be switched on. No weather features are on by default. If you are getting ASA/ASE weather interference only when FSUIPC4 is installed then something else you have also installed is surely doing it. An unregistered FSUIPC is merely a window into FSX's innards for other programs and add-ons.Pete Win10: 22H2 19045.2728 CPU: 9900KS at 5.5GHz Memory: 32Gb at 3800 MHz. FSUIPC's contribution to flight simming is without reproach, as is Active Sky's contribution. Unfortunately, what happens in my sim happens. I won't address this further with you since I didn't pay for it.It's amazing that this only happens to me on two different computers. Art
