Most console games have either variable framerates or are locked at 30 hertz, rather than 60. It's quite difficult to pull off a constant 60 hertz on a console, unless you're playing a remake of an old game which doesn't come close to stressing the hardware.

So the latest titles are locked at 30 fps not 60 fps? How about Forza 3 and GT5 that run at a consistent 60fps, which are the closest you're going to get to a

Apparently English is not your strong suit, and you appear to only be capable of dealing in absolutes. Most does not mean the same thing as all. I'm sure you can come up with singular examples of games that run at 60 hertz, but the vast majority of them do not.

Apparently anything out of the realm of your limited experience with hardware capability is hard for you to comprehend, lol.

Out of the 16-17 games I have for XBOX360 and PS3 not one of them isn't optimized to run at a consistent 60fps. The two or three that are the most impressive graphically do run at a consistent 60fps, so the current consoles with the right game optimizations are more that capable of that performance. With the next gen consoles games running at 60fps or 120fps will probably be the norm.

"hard for you to comprehend, lol"What are you, 15?Your games don't run at 60 fps. Educate yourself. Or don't, it's your call.

As I said before the two games that are the most impressive graphically are Forza 3 and GT5, both of which run at 60fps. What's so hard to comprehend, if Forza 3 and GT5 can run at 60fps with all that eye candy and AI then with proper game optimisations it is obviously possible for a game to run at 60fps on the XBOX360 and PS3, period.

GT5 isn't yet a product. You don't know the framerate at which it runs. Go ahead and click that link. I dare you.

Read the details that have already been released on GT5 then tell me if one of the goals is not 60fps performance. Then grab a copy of GT5 Prologue and see how that performs and looks and let us know.
