March 14, 201016 yr What exactly does Ctrl + E do, in sequence, in a two engine plane. I can start the engines with Ctrl +E but they refuse to start if I turn the battery on, alt. switch on, open the fuel selector, mixture full rich, throttle full then cracked a little, boost pumps on, props Hi RPM, and then use the magneto start switch? Is there a sequence of events documented somewhere for the autostart command sequence? If there is I sure can't find it. Thanks, regards, Bob.

Thanks, regards, Bob.It may depend on the plane... can you start the default Baron? If not, start up FSX with the default C172, shut it down and switch to the Baron. It should work as you described.Sometimes it depends on what plane you ran before.. if you switched aircraft and certainsettings carried over.. this can prevent you from starting the aircraft. Thanks. Yes I can start the Baron. I just wanted to know exactly what sequence was initiated by Ctrl-E so I could duplicate it manually in my plane. I can't start mine manually when I load it fresh. Best regards, Bob.

Especially in complex airplanes. The check list which is available for all airplanes in FSX, takes you through all the steps necessary from pre-start to shutdown.Hope this helps. Robin

I don't have a checklist for this plane. It's a hybrid. That's why I wanted to know what Ctrl-E does exactly so I can duplicate it to start it manually. Regards, Bob.
