March 14, 201016 yr Hello All!Just cruising around this FANTASTIC and sim-altering scenery, I started keeping a list of some of the more interesting (at least, to me!) airstrips. Why don't we start a thread where we can share some of the great airstrips that we visit? I'll get the ball rolling with some off of my list:North Plains, 1OR4-- seems to be hang glider central! Vernonia, O5S-- nice, challenging approach to rwy 27Sky Harbor, S86-- situated in a beautiful valleyMajerle Strip, WA17--nice approach over a riverSkydive Oregon, OL05-- short hop north over to...Portland-Mulino, 4S9Iron Crown, 22OR-- uphill steep slope runway!!Let's keep adding to the list!!!Cheers,Paul

I can't remember the airpot designated tag, but if you load up OREGON in your flight planner, and then dial up Myrtle Creek for the city, you'll find it. The surrounding area throughout all 360 degrees, has got to be some of the most detailed and beautiful mountain scenery to fly to/from that I have found in PNW to date. After take off, just fly over and follow the river/creek through the mountain cuts and valleys in either of its bed directions. Simply awesome.Mitch
