March 15, 201016 yr This is not just one or two people now. Tried rebuilding another FSX.cfg, couldn't find Registry Toolkit, etc. Was working gr8 yesterday, now crash to desktop! Help!Since yesterday when all was well:1. Have not changed any driver settings.2. Log in to Vista same3. Only change I can trace is I selected Australia scenery in FTX Orbx control panel. Changed back to PNW, no change in the loading of J4100. 4. DID download and install two liveries for the J4100 today before discovering this issue. Have tried to load the former J4100 I had been flying, which were add on liveries, to no avail. Can't seem to think of any other changes except time: went to Daylight Savings time here yesterday at 2AM. Help, I'm just starting to love this thing!ADDENDUM: just reinstalled the J4100, overtop of its original install: still crashes upon loading. And here you go:Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: fsx.exe Application Version: 10.0.61472.0 Application Timestamp: 475e17d3 Fault Module Name: PMDG_BAe_JS4100.DLL Fault Module Version: 1.0.0.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 4ad9011f Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 000163d7 OS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.256.1 Locale ID: 1033Additional information about the problem: LCID: 1033Please let me know what to look at, or when you can get this fixed for us.Thanks,Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. March 15, 201016 yr Seems this has hit a few people. Don't think Daylight saving time in itself would be at fault, however it's not to say a windows update of some sort didn't take effect at that time?Check your add/remove programs to see what windows updates you recently got. i9 10920x @ 4.8 ~ MSI Creator x299 ~ 256 Gb 3600 G.Skill Trident Z Royal ~ EVGA RTX 3090ti ~ Sim drive = M.2 2-TB ~ OS drive = M.2 is 512-gb ~ 5 other Samsung Pro/Evo mix SSD's ~ EVGA 1600w ~ Win 10 Pro Dan Prunier
March 15, 201016 yr Check your add/remove programs to see what windows updates you recently got.I'v updated my Vista and have no problems. I guess a lot more would have reported problems if the cause was a Windows Update.
March 15, 201016 yr Visual C++ 2008 redistributables may be hosed... try a full uninstall and reinstall the JS4100, not over the top...Make sure you install the Visual C++ redists... your Vista updates may have hosed those, and only a few applications (like the JS4100) would have an issue...Andrew Andrew Entwistle

I had not done any Vista updates for many weeks prior to this appearance of this problem.
