Any additional (long haul) documentation required?

To all MD-11 customers, after releasing the second tutorial flight document for the MD-11 we get a small number of requests for additional information and documentation via e-mail. So in this thread I would like to know from all of you, what you want in addition to the two available documents. Missing from these two is specific information about long haul procedures and stuff, and that is what we think you might be interested in getting more documentation. Here's a list of the topics that will be included in the next document:- Step climbs- Wind data input for the entire route- Fuel dump (in case you use the failure engine on those long haul flights)- Take-Off at MTOWSo what else do you want to get looked at? Reply to this post and let me know. But keep in mind that I can't guarantee that I'll have the time to go write about each and every item you request here. And in some cases I might feel that the manuals you have are enough coverage on a topic already. After more than a year on the market this add-on still is the most in-depth system simulation of all for MSFS. So we want you to master it even better!Best regards,Markus

Markus, I don't recall if you have covered a diversion enroute. This seems to come up on occasion here on all aircraft and it may tie in with the fuel dump scenario as well.

Thanks for that Dan, this will indeed go handy with the fuel dump.Markus

How about missed approaches? More often than not I experienced an AI aircraft lining up for take-off with me being on finals (I'm not using the less than perfect ATC within FS, but added a lot of goodies from World of AI). Things will have to happen very quickly, but I am not sure whether I am using the proper procedures.Keep up the good work. I am going RTW with kinda short legs (LOL).Jan Peter van Kempen

Not sure what missed approaches have to do with long haul? Anyway it's pretty straight forward, Push GA, Flaps 28, F/D will pop up if you switched it off for whatever reason so keep the bars centered and select gear up when you have a positive rate. The main thing I think people forget to do is set the missed approach Alt on the MCP after glide slope intercept.http://www.smartcockpit.com/pdf/plane/boei.../diagrams/0006/

MarkusI'd be grateful for anything that you choose to produce for us. Your first two tutorials have provided me with a lot of knowledge about using the MD-11 - and have also been fun. Thank you.
