I loaded an add-on A330-200 (by Thomas Ruth), but the airplane is invisible when I load it on to FSX. This has happened with other FSX add-ons, but doesn't seem to happen with the basic free-ware FS9 add-ons (I can use IFDG and Posky FS9 planes just fine). Looks like your computer resources are low.Please post system specs and other relevant info so that you can get some assistance.

Older NVidia graphics cards can sometimes be the cause of this, and one thing you can try should that be the case, is deselecting 'advanced animations' in the FSX preferences, which will sometimes sort it out. If this is the reason, then it is generally as a result of the models in question using textures and modeling from the more recent FSX SDK.Al

No it's a problem with FS9 AI aircraft in FSX SP2, when aircraft shadows are on. Turn them off and your aircraft will reappear.

This happened to one of my AI aircraft which I later found the texture folder (defined in aircraft.cfg) was missing. Alternatively, the texture folder may not be defined aircraft.cfg or there is a duplicated/out of sequence [fltsim.#] section.
