March 29, 201016 yr I'm very interested in the EZDok camera addon, those who have bought it seem very pleased with it. However, I also have TrackIR, and I understand that the two are mutually exclusive - TrackIR must either be disabled or used in a special 2-axis mouse view mode for EZDok to work.EZDok is sold using the Flight1 wrapper, so I suppose I could just try it out and get a refund if I can't get it to work to my liking. But before I do so, I would like to hear from other TrackIR users who are also using EZDok - have you found a satisfactory way of combining the two? As a minimum, is there an easy way of switching between them? March 29, 201016 yr HelloI had both but returned Ezdok back to Flight1. I would be glad to buy it again if they can get the two to work together. To me, there was a high learning curve which I just didn't have the time for. I think Ezdok is a good program for those who do not have TrackIR or those who want a top notch pan view around both the inside and outside of the plane. It would be great as a advertising tool to really show off your product. As a pilot, I find that TrackIR is a must. No buttons to push and all I have to do is turn (or adjust my head) to get the same views as Ezdok.Again, if they can get the two to work together, my money is waiting.Regards,Ed
March 29, 201016 yr Hi !Read this post from NP:http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_post...D=196161#196161...here much in detail speaks... EZdok software. www.ezdok-software.com
March 29, 201016 yr Author Read this post from NP:http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_post...D=196161#196161 Thanks for the link, Marniftarr - yes, I do understand the difficulties you are up against, I was just wondering how users of both products (if there are any) were managing to work around them. The ideal solution would be to have the Aces team come back and fix Simconnect, of course :( Tom Risager NGX tutorial: http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?Location=AVSIM&Proto=ftp&DLID=162360 SIDs & STARs Worked Examples: LOWI-UUDD, KSEA-KLAX, EKCH-ENGM, YSCB-YPAD

Given that Natural Point's can't/won't/bad timing issue - I think this is an enormous opportunity for Marniftarr/Flight1 to develop his, or their own version, whether using his own, new hardware, or licensing that from NP and then creating a new interface. It might take a while, but someone is going to do this, I'm sure. This is not going away.Yes - I purchased this twice, and each time I sadly returned it. I just couldn't make the two work satisfactorily together. On it's own all phases of flight become utterly authentic with EZDok/EZCA: the bumping and random rocking/rolling motions on take-off - followed by the sudden smoothness as she becomes airborne are so realistic, but I also cannot use switches or buttons to move my view around: this has to be head-movement initiated.10cents i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
March 29, 201016 yr Agree completely with Ed and Paul - I asked for a refund on EZdok, but reluctantly. I really miss the effects but can't go back to hat switch panning from TrackIR. If there's a fix that gets them working together, I'm there in a heartbeat.Alan Alan Ampolsk"Ah, Paula, they are firing at me!"-- Saint-Exupery
