Here's something that I have not been able to figure out with FSX. Is there a way to disable the text in the upper right corner when you change views and zoom in and out? I know about changing "true" to "false" in the cfg for pause, brakes, overspeed, etc. However, I have not been able to find where the text portion for views lies. I'm starting to get back into FSX lately. The 1.09 GEX update is amazing. What a pleasant surprise. Anyway, I am considering making some videos. I'm sure they'll be awful at first, but eliminating all on screen text would surely help!Thanks,Scott

Change this setting in fsx.cfg:

[Display]ChangeTime=4.000000

Change it to:

[Display]ChangeTime=0.000000

Sorry Ulf :--) but the best method is to change/add these values:

[Main]HideMenuNormal=1HideMenuFullscreen=1HIDEINFOTEXT=1

Can you change the figure to something like 2.00000 and simply shorten the display time?
Yes, you can: I have it at 1.00000: sometimes I need that info (like when I've zoomed in and want to zoom out again, or when I use time accel) but never for long, and 1.000000 does the trick.
