March 30, 201016 yr I try to gather all info concerning fsx with W7.I know that many people out there are not enthousiast with W7/FSX.I must reinstall XP/32. Wouldn't this be a good time to upgrade to W7/64 ?My PC is equipped with ASUS PQ Turbo and CPU Intel 8500 OC at 3.8 GhzWhat advice can you give me before I install FSX with W7 (libraries to use, what to disable, sequence for installation) so that my chances of avoiding problems are the greatest. March 30, 201016 yr Best way is to follow NickN "I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there than be up there wishing I was down here"
March 30, 201016 yr It would be a great time to upgrade to Win7 64b!FSX runs great in Win7. When tweaking Win7 for FSX follow the Vista tweaks. When I tweaked Win7 if I could not find in Win7 what Nick was talking about for Vista I just skipped it. I run Win7 Ult 64B and have no issues with FSX.Operating system tweak thread can be found herehttp://205.252.250.26/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1208959973The tweak for FSX has already been posted above and you stated that you knew of that on anyway.Rod
