Howdy,Just re-installed FS9 for the first time in a long time and it's like visiting an old friend. My rig runs FSX nicely but just hammers FS9 and I'm loving the smooth FPS with my CS 707 at FZ02.The question: can someone please tell me the best .cfg settings to take advantage of the sim, meaning faster texture loading settings or higher graphics settings.Thank you. :(

These looked promising however I had no change from them. Probably because I did something wrong. I simply changed and added verbatum (well I changed the (und)s to ands as I am quite sure my computer does not speak german. :( jet

The answer is "there is no such thing as the best fs9.cfg settings"What may work for my PC, might totally blow on yours. I agree that the link mentioned is a good place to start but I doubt if there are more than a handful of simmers whose .cfg is identical. It took me quite some time to end up with my FS9 running to my satisfaction. Good luck with your quest.
