Having a problem using the G1000 to set up an approach. I want the VOR/DME Approach to RWY 13 at KPVU (Provo, Utah) using the FFU (Fairfield) transition.I select PROC/SELECT APPROACH and VOR/DME 13 is selected - hit enter - get the list starting with VECTORS which is highlighted - FFU is at bottom.I absolutely can NOT get the cursor to move. Reread the help file - mouse over the knob - rotate the mouse wheel and/or click - nada - nothing moves.I can change the radio freq's etc with the mouse but just can not change the approach selection.Normal GPS works as expected.Have I missed a step somewhere?Thanx,Vic

The outer knob will allow you to select the field you want.

I played with it somemore - there are two spots on the outer knob - the upper spot moves the cursor up and down in the list - the lower spot does not.Thanx!

Yea the G1000 in all three aircraft is not very well done (the knobs that is). It's really tricky to get the right selection especially when there's multiple selections tied in with the knobs (like course/baromter). I spend half my time scanning the mouse over the knob a trillion times trying to get the selection i want.
