programming airways into Eaglesoft Citation X

Featured Replies

I'm only familiar with Boeing style FMCs and can program them backwards. But how would I enter this into a Citation X FMS? I only know how to program the actual waypoint, not the airway info.BGQ J124 GKN NCA14 APMAL NCA14 YNE VBI J538 DLH J89 BGOSH J89 OBK J73 PXVSo how would I program in J124 for GKN? Would I just ignore that and fly BGQ to GKN then APMAL ignoring the airway info?Didn't want to ask in the eaglesoft forums for fear of being called a newbie or not reading the docs! Thanks

I don't think you can...But why would you need to? DLH J21 GEP is the same as DLH GEP in flight plan terminology

Well, as it happens, this sample page from the new "LROPS Manual*" for the Citation X explains how:http://www.lrops.com/cxsample3.pdfAlso, reading the questions and answers at the official forum(s) is very, very informative.* http://lrops.com/store/product_info.php?pr...e6a088814a85ebf

Newb!!! Read the docs!!!Now that we've covered the trivial details... here's how you'd enter it:J124.GKNThe big hidden clue... the prompt on the FMS states VIA.TO above the empty _______.

The entire purpose of this is so that all of the intermediate waypoints will be automatically inserted into the flightplan, Ryan.On some routes, this can be up to ten to fifteen waypoints! It would be silly to enter each one individually... :(
