April 17, 201016 yr Welcome to simming, Chris!! You're gonna love it.Use the World of AI full packages and install them one by one -- they are the best all around AI packages and best of all they're free.<< www.world-of-ai.com >>And, by the way . . . if you stick with flight simming for any length of time, you will shortly become VERY comuter literate. :( Smooth Skies! -- Chuck B. April 18, 201016 yr Very interested in World of AI - or indeed any FS9 alternative to the very tired and old-looking Traffic2005.Before I start downloading will someone please confirm that all I need to get started is the Installer package and then any individiual airline I choose.Compared to Traffic 2005: - are the visuals better? - how is the interection with ME on the ground - will they stop for me, for example - how do the planes move on the ground: is it smooth with curved turns or is it jerky like Traffic2005 - is it compatibale with (or do I even need) AISmooth - how are the carriers installed - do they know which airports to populate or is it manually doneWhat is the "Visibility" package?Thank you in advanceNicholas

April 19, 201016 yr Isn't there a bulk installer for all the WOAI packages? I don't want to download and install hundreds of individual packages :(That's the reason why I stick to Ultimate Traffic (2007) :/I prefer having lots of different planes and liveries with outdated flight plans than 10 companies world wide with the latest flight plans >_<

Somebody GIVES the community almost 400 airlines for free, and then continues to keeps them updated, also for free, and we complain their installer takes too much time. No wonder developers get frustrated with us, and/or drop out. :( :( B) BTW, the WOAI installer does accomodate multiple package installs, but I try to keep it down to 4 or 5 at a time. Any more than that and it seems to get confused. Takes me all of an hour to install all of them . . . Smooth Skies! -- Chuck B. April 19, 201016 yr Well, I am a lazy flightsimmer. I won't deny that :3Installing them one by one is ok. I can be patient... Proof of that is me running Gentoo Linux...But downloading them: one by one >_< I'm happy that I don't have to download every source file one at the time for my linux box xD

If I decide I want to do some exploring of other areas, such as South America, or Italy or The Netherlands etc. etc., then I probably will re-visit WOAI and pick up a few airlines for those regions. It boils down to a matter of personal taste - and in some cases, the amount of HD space available.
April 20, 201016 yr Well, my first experience with WOAI has proved to be frustrating.Removed Traffic2005, rebooted, ran the WOAI installer and multiple-installed my chosen packages - and pouff! - the Modules option on the "Alt" bar has disappeared, and with it FSUIPC control of my yopke, etc - and goodness knows what else. The folder and all the Modules are there in FS where they should be but seem to have been disconnected. Now, this might be a coincidence and has nothing to do with WOAI - but .................And where the heck is the WOAI support forum? The link on the homepage leads to three Forum options and none have anything from users: so where do I get support?ANd how do I uninstall this thing? Cant find a program files entry, theres no uninstall icon in the WOAI folder, and it doesnt show in my "Add or Remove Programs" list.
April 20, 201016 yr To access all of the WOAI forums you must register which is simple and easy to do.After you are registered you will see the many forums and be able to post. The support there has always been very good.

All of your questions are answered either in the directions that came with the installer or on the WOAI website or forum -- I'm not at my sim computer right now, so I can't find them for you. You can certainly uninstall all packages very simply, and then do a system restore and all should be well, except your FSUIPC.ini file won't be restored (hopefully you have it backed up somewhere, RIGHT??). Then, start over and do one install at a time -- I think you'll find that your modules menu item will remain right where it's supposed to be.Good luck, let us know what happens.
