How to determin if SP1 is installed

Featured Replies

I really can't remember if I have installed SP1. When I right-click on the FSX.exe it says under properties "fsx-sp2.20071210-2023". I assume this means I have SP2 installed. But where can I see if I have SP1 installed? Or is SP1 included in SP2 (what I doubt by a look at the file sizes of these two packs)? Or must SP1 be installed anyway for installing SP2?What benefits does SP1 have compared to SP2?I know, I could simply install SP1 (again), but this needs a "virgin" FSX install, what I don't have due to my add-ons.You see, lots of questions. :( Thanks advance for any answer,Wolfgang

I don't believe SP2 would install without SP1 already installed.

The various Service Packs replace their predecessor...The only "legacy" remaining is an SP specific version of SimConnect that gets installed in the Windows SxS (side-by-side) folder.
