Say, Has anyone heard anything about FlyingTigersGroup.Org having issues? (FTG) This is a group to which I have belonged and flown for 3 years, and sddenly, nomatter where I log in from, I get an error that says my IP address is denied.

HTTP Error 403.6 - Forbidden: IP address of the client has been rejected.Internet Information Services (IIS)

Now, maybe someone there has it in for me but I really doubt it as I was on good terms with them. Can anyone here access: www.flyingtigersgroup.org ?Thanks!

Sounds like their Database crashed, thus causing all websites and systems tied to their ACARS system to go down. It also sounds like there were no backups or no good backups so who knows what will happen.They have a facebook page too that you can check out however I haven't found it yet. Supposedly they will be updating people on what the plans are soon.-J

Thanks! Yes, it looks like they were either hacked or had some kind of catastrophic db failure. I'll let you know if I find their FB page.

Yes our database was hacked and 3 very important tables destroyed. Then we found out our web host had not done a single backup of our database, even though they advertise daily, weekly, monthly backups. Today we found out who did it and how.We will be back, but it may take a few months. Check the facebook group page or the forum for more info.

I thought I was the only one. I poasted about this on two other fourms and have had no answers. This sucks why can't people leave other peoples stuff alone. Does anyone have the ftgacars program they can email me? If I had this then and it still worked not sure if it would. I could still fly and have the flight save to the logbook and send them when tthe site comes back up.

It wouldn't work because you would need to login with FTG ACARS at least once. The members database was deleted by the attack.

I did not think about that. Crap I guess I will have to join another va for the time being.

Why did you guys get hacked in the first place, I don't understand that.Sucks to hear anyways, I hope you'll get back soon, I'd like to rejoin :(
