Anyone out using RC with Norton Internet Security?I'm trying to figure out how to write the various rules so that RC andNorton Internet Security will work together. There's a pinned post aboveabout this, but it's not quite specific enough.Modifying rules for the .exe portion of RC is pretty easy, but the post abovementions also modifying Norton Internet Security so that the local host also workswith RC.Thanks in advance.Slugger

If this helps make sure RC has access to the local host IP address 127.0.0.1 .

In addition try excluding both RC directories from Norton realtime protection. It was only afte I did this that I was able to resolve the issue. RC is now working consistantly. Hope that this helps.

The only thing that really helps with Nortons is "format c:\" :(
