J41 Landing lights

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me how to get the landing lights to work on the J41? I've been getting used to lights on the VRS Superbug and I'm curious if the J41 is capable of lighting like that. Any input? Thanks, Pete Giese

Landing lights switch on overhead panel, but this looks like a loaded question. I have no idea what a VRS Superbug is, why would someone call an airplane a bug?

Thanks for the reply Dan, not a loaded question at all. I should state that I love the JS41 just as it is. I'm just curious if it's possible to light up the ground while taxiing. I've got the landing light switch on, but it doesn't light up the area around the aircraft. The VRS SuperBug is a simulation of the F/A-18E just released by another awesome company called VRS. I believe they use shockwave landing lights, which adds a lot of reality to the sim. Thanks, Peter Giese

There is an option in FSX under display settings about landing lights illuminating the ground. Make sure it is checked.

Ah yes, well there's the Navy for ya. The Air Force has Falcons, Eagles and of course my favorite the Aardvark! :(
