:( Hi guys,Just bought the 747 fs2crew for FSX, and i am very familiar with FS2crew.I was very surprised though to have such a perf hit.for examplepmdg 747 @ Uk2000 Heathrow Xtreme in the VC 17-20FPS..Without FS2crew running [reverting back to original panel] 30+FPS in the VC.Why is there such a difference in fps? And is there a way to improve the situation?Alex

Hi Alex,I don't know, and I've never experienced that. That's a large frame rate hit. I'd be hearing about that 30 times a day if it was common to everyone.I'd start with the usual suspects:Update your video and sound drivers... defrag your hard drive.Best,

Hi bryan, im sorry it seems to be only me thats asking about performance,I have got a new GTX480 and drivers havent properly been released for it.. But i did get a fps with the call 737wilco.. [gtx280]Your program will take a perf hit compared to defualt as thats understandable [processor working harder]..I regually defrag the computer, but a fps hit from 30 luquid smooth, to 17-20 is a large hit.. I dont know how much difference a driver update from nvidia will giveAll the bestAlex

Hi Alex,I'm not convinced it's the video driver.Generally, you shouldn't notice any performance hit with FS2Crew, especially with the non-voice controlled versions.Check your audio drivers, too. Also make sure you have the latest FS2Crew updates.Your frame rate hit is very, very large, and that suggest something is amiss somewhere... it's just a matter of identifying it.Cheers,
