May 20, 201016 yr What is the best way to change runways on the fly. Before I depart I always enter my STAR and arrival RW but now and then I have to change to accommodate ATC. I always seem to mess things up, either I will delete the STAR that Im already on or I will double insert the STAR and have to spend time cleaning things up. All I want to do is keep the STAR and switch the runways. But in the fms you always have to insert the star again if you just select a new RW and hit insert the STAR that Im already established on gets erased, if I select the STAR that Im on and a new RW it will enter it but some of the waypoints that I have already passed will be entered again along with some discon's. I guess what Im asking is whats the best way to change RW's while already established on your arrival. Hope this makes sense. :(
