Kudos to FS2 Maddog Voice Commander

Hi all you Maddog Drivers!!I have, to a small part, been involved with the development of the Voice Commander with Bryan since it was first under development and had been intricately involved in the Beta Testing. I have worked with Bryan thru a number of early iterations of the product and have been completely impressed by the professionalism and attention to support and detail that he puts into his product, so I thought I'd let all of you know of my success with the product in my everyday flights with the LH Maddog 2008 Pro as the MD Program Chief Pilot for one of the large VA's.I have a pretty hefty main CPU and GPU today (in process home cockpit builder)and am just amazed at how well this simulates the RW environment (that includes my knowledge and personal possession of the RW operations manuals from one of the major RW carriers regularly using the MD82, 88 and 90s) and all I can say is between what LH has built with the Maddog and what FS2 Crew has added. It is Stunning Realism!!More important, I happened to be making an on-line flight last evening out of KLAS and was amazed at the realism level and performance of FS2. I have a built in high quality microphone on my simulator dash and use headset for on-line network ATC. The FS2Crew performs flawlessly and the voice recognition and interations are nearly perfect with little or no repetition of any FO request, simply amazing. I don't have to use a headset, no keyboard commands and all I can say is that I am proud to have been a small part of the initiative to have this product available for my Maddog.Well Done Bryan!!!(oh, I just bought the PMDG J41, ordered the PFC Turbo Prop throttle quadrant and waiting for the FS2 to be available for it as well)KUDOS!!

I agree 100% with you, My first venture into Flight Sim was with Eric Ernst's freeware MD83 panel and the Dog has remained by far my favorite FS aircraft to fly. This sim is about the only thing I fly anymore and with the addition of the Voice Commander it has taken the Dog to an even higher level. I feel almost unworthy of the Dog and FS2Crew package now and I am hell bent on getting to be as professional as possible with both sims. I am in the process of changing my setup over to three 22" flat screen monitors with WideView in honor of the pair of addons. (My Wife bought me the three monitors for my Birthday! :( ) The 22" CRT monitor will go above the three flat screens for the overhead panel..By the way, I am also a PFC user, here is an old pix of the setup prior to the flat screen update... http://i515.photobucket.com/albums/t357/w4fej/Picture045.jpg I nominate Bryan for Flight Sim developer of the year!! :( Mike B.

That's a very impressive set up you have there Mike! I certainly could see myself changing my Saitek throttle, yoke and rudder and Goflight radios for your gear! However, TrackIR is a must to me (as you could see from my videos) so my Samsung 25,5" screen suites me nicely! The quite sad part is that the amount of money I have spent on add-ons for MSFS that I never use, could easily have bought me your PFC stuff! Oh well :D
