Wasserkuppe - is there scenery?

Featured Replies

I like gliding, and wonder if there is any scenery for the Wasserkuppe near Popenhausen? I don't mean thermals, but rather the buildings and small GA airport on the Wasserkuppe?Googled to no avail, so many thanks for any help!gliderdriver

Certainly available for FS9... Scenery Germany 4 from Aerosoft covers various GA fields, including EDER Wasserkuppe...Though, it hasn't been done for FSX yet... maybe they will get around to it one day...A shame that the German Airfields series hasn't covered anything of Central Germany south of Southern Lower Saxony yet...Andrew

I suppose you would rather be flying, but there is NO reason you can't make/edit the airport to make it a little more interesting. ADE is free, relatively easy to use; you can add parked gliders and such from stock objects.upgraded LIPBLoyd

Hooked since FS4... now flying: FSX Acceleration on Win7/64, Core Duo E8400; GA-EP45-DS3R; GTX 460-768MB; 4G RAM; Freezer 7 Pro

You can find scenery for it for both Condor and for Silent Wings and I'm pretty sure it is a default scenery in the not quite so great Glider Pilot sim, but since both Condor and Silent Wings do a vastly better job of simulating gliding than FS does, I would say that's probably the way to go.Al
