Future FS2crew updates?

Featured Replies

Hello Bryan,Could you inform us about (hopefully) future Voice commander projects?Up until now, the new generation FS2crew aircraft's are all mid-range aircraft.Since I really like to fly the Wilco Airbus series 1 and 2, and also PMDG MD-11 and 747, like many other simmers do, I really should like it, if there should come Voice commander versions for these aircraft too.Any chance???Regards, Henk

How about the Level-D 767? Maybe I'm coding it as we speak :(

Thanks Bryan. You get hardly the chance to sleep with all those questions and work, busy, busy all the time.Sorry, I forgot about the 767; he's in my hangar, but I never fly the bird. Perhaps the in the near future?Anyway, hope the Wilco Airbus and the Pmdg MD11 and 747, get a chance too. :( Henk

The 767 has an SDK, which makes interfacing with it VERY easy... so you can see why I like it.

A good reason for me to take him out of the hangar and look if I can fly him.ThanksHenk

Any idea on a rough time scale Bryan? Think I am fairly close to ruling out MSE.Having never used FS2Crew I am slightly concerned about following the script but voice commands for AP etc especially whilst being handed around during takeoff & approach are my main point. You stated some would not be modelled (buttons) you will be modelling the xfeed pumps etc I hope?

Hi Darren,You can expect full voice commands for all autopilot functionality. That's a given. They will not be script constrained. You can use them anytime the wheels are off the ground.X-feed pumps will be available via voice command (the center fuel pumps since you might need to turn them off in flight). If you want to get a glimpse of what it will look like, try the new PMDG J41 version.Time frame: Soon. The 767 ships with a very easy to use SDK, which makes coding fast. Also, I've done several voice command products now, and with the experienced I've acquired I can make them quicker with little to no bugs.In fact, based on what I've seen so far, the PMDG J41 version seems to have no bugs whatsoever, which is amazing given that it's so complex.
