Thanks for all, trying to help me. Of course, I tried the tips. However, loading the flight from the start menu directly, did not work for me (everything was loaded, I could hear the sound of the 737NGX, but I did not get anything on the monitor, funny thing). Then I first loaded another aircraft as the default Cessna, in this case, it was the B-747. Then, I loaded the flight, and everything was there, tail and elevator lights worked now, but I still could not switch them off (so the switches from logo and anti-collision lights did not work). Finally, I loaded the default Cessna at Altenrhein (CH), and when it was loaded, I loaded the flight from the FSX menubar, and then everything worked super. Don't understand it, but as long as it works, I'm happy. I must say here. that I have connected the MCP-Combo, the V737 overhead panel and the CDU II (VR-Insight) to FSX. Maybe, everything is caused by this hardware??? Anymay, again thanks for helping me. Regards, Henk Altena

Hello Jim Thanks for the quick answer. I left all the switches, as they were, when saving the flight. Alter reloading, they don't work anymore, switching them off and on, does not bring anything. I did exit FSX, then started FSX again and choose from the start-up menue the same 737-800NGX, and then from the menue: load flight. Reason for saving and subsequently reloading is, that I would like to empty the VAS. The only way is, what I understand, by exiting FSX completely. Henk

Hello everyone When I make a flight at night with the 737-800NGX, and I save the flight, I noticed, that after reloading the flight to continue, I noticed that the tail (logo) and elevator lights, and the anti-collision lights don't work anymore. Is this a known problem, and could anyone help me out. Before saving the flight, everthing was OK. Thanks for helping me out. Henk

Hello everyone I know, this problem was already posted,but I could not find it anymore. I noticed, that the landing-lights of AI-aircraft were not visible anymore in DX10 mode. Somewhere, I red that Steve has developed a fix for this. I can't find this fix. I've a NVidia 570 GPU, and MyTraffic installed on my rig. Has anyone of you the patience, to help me out with this? Thanks very much for the quick answer. Tutorial 1 tells me however that before LAND is displayed, i.e before the self-test, the PFD should display FD. That's what puzzles me.Henk

Hello everyone,A lot of posts and threads have been written about this. Searched for it, but did not find my problem.I want to make an autolanding at LSZH rwy 14 (CATIII). Both NAV's set at 108.30. Both courses set at 136 degrees. After having intercepted the localizer (VOR/LOC activated), a few moments later, I see the glidescope (open) diamond. After the glidescope is intercepted (filled diamond), I switch on the second AP, and as soon as the 737 is going down, following the glide-path, I get Single CH into the PFD. At approx. 1500 feet AGL, the self-test is carried out, and the Single CH changes into LAND 3.What I really don't understand is that I get the announcement Single CH. In my opinion it should be CMD or FD.What am I doing wrong?Thanks for feedback.RegardsHenk Altena

If you have installed the CDUII, using the new VRI-software, then there is that small bug with the CLR key. This is a VRInsight bug!!For example, you would like to type into the CDUII scratchpad a COroute, for instance EHAMEGLL. However, you made a typo and typed in EHAMEGLM. Normally you press the CLR key to delete the M and then the L-key to correct your typo. However if you press the CLR key only once, it does not only delete the M, but the whole sentence i.e. EHAMEGLM, and you have to start all over again.Hope you understand what I mean: Again it is a VRI-bug, which should be solved by VRInsight.Henk Altena

Hi David,Vincent is right. I fly the NGX with the CDUII, and it works fine. There is only one small problem, which is confirmed by Andy: if you made a typo in the scratchpad and you press clear to delete the typo, the whole contents of the scratchpad disappear. Personally, I should not wait for the SDK, because it could take a long time before PMDG give it free for developers.By the way, my rig isn't top of the bill, but I don't have problems with frame-rates or so.Henk Altena

Hello to all, giving me support.The problem was a lousy USB connection between my VRI MCPCombo and my rig. Using another USB port solved it. My flaps are programmed into the MCP.Thanks anyway and a Haapy Newyear to all of you.Kind regards,Henk

Hello everyone.I fly the PMDG737NGX with SP1b. Up until yestarday: no problems. Last night, I loaded a saved flight, i.e. Tutorial1, 10 miles before the TOD. Then, I noticed, that the flaps were at position 1 (should be flaps up). Tried to set them in the up-position. Flaps moved a couple of times, but finally they came back to the position one. So, I deceided to start a brand-new flight from the Cold and Dark. I could not load the 737-800 anymore, but got a CTD immediately, telling me: PMDG_737NGX.dll as the reason for the CTD. Starting the computer new did not bring anything.Then, I uninstalled the whole PMDG-737NGX, using the controlpanel. I did a brand-new install from the basic version of the 737NGX (without updates), without any liveries, only the PMDG-house liveries. I started a flight, everything did look normal, but before starting to taxi, I noticed that the flaps did not work at all.Could anyone help me. Many thanks in advance.Henk Altena
