January 3, 201214 yr Author sure! I won't do a closeup, because I can't get the paints to look as good as the websites, but it's really nice!
January 3, 201214 yr Author For the ones who don't get it to look sharp:Go to C:Users*Your Name*AppDataRoamingMicrosoftFSXfsx.cfg Search for TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD if you find TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=1024 change it to TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=4096 . Save the file and you're done. Well, thats wierd, I did this when I bought the NGX, as it told us to do in the manual, but somehow it was at 1024...hmmm oh well, fixed it anyway
January 3, 201214 yr i have put it to 4096 again, too. But the texture still doenst look sharp If you can´t read it, you can´t fly it. Real world B777F pilot
January 3, 201214 yr Every REX user knows well that 4096 setting. Please be aware that after a whatever change and save within the graphic section of FSX such texture max load within the fsx.cfg comes automatically back to 1024.You have to set it back to 4096 after saving the changes into the FSX graphic section if occured. January 3, 201214 yr oh ok now i have the right settings with 4096...but the paint doesnt look so impresive like on the mcphat shoots..what do u think guys? If you can´t read it, you can´t fly it. Real world B777F pilot
January 3, 201214 yr @RickHD textures don't result in a loss of FPS. Also because the NGX Textures had already a HD format, the only thing we did was putting in that extra detail.@SebastianIf you post a screenshot, fsx.cfg and system specs I can see what's wrong. Kind regards, Dhierin Bechai McPhat Studios

January 3, 201214 yr Author So let me get this straight, if I was to edit anything in FSX settings, like autogen, traffic, mesh detail, etc. it would set it back to 1024? Gosh, that's a painAnd nice job, Tom! Edited January 3, 201214 yr by Wendall

Gosh, that's a painAnd nice job, Tom!Yes. Well I don't know about the traffic part but whenever I edit anything in the 'Display' tab in the setting, I always have to go back to the .cfg and change it back to 4096.
