  1. .....and you are absolutely right! I do appologize, I thought it might be a nooby mistake.....I feel a bit embarrassed now.....it seems P3D was loading my flights at -35°C at ground level (fair weather). It is no longer doing so. Thank you very much for your help, Keven. Kind regards. Tom.
  2. Hi guys, I suspect that I'm being a noob here, but I'm seeing contrails on ground level in the PMDG NGX (P3D v2.5 with hot fixes installed) - see attached image. I've tried uninstalling and then re-installing once again, but I'm still getting them. I was just wondering if it was me not doing the right thing or if it's something else? Is anyone else getting the same thing? More importantly, has anyone got a solution? Thanks in advance for your help, guys.....and if it's me being a noob....sorry! Tom.
  3. Well done, give all the rest of us Brits a bad name....... Seriously, how about thinking before making a stupid comment? Edit: .......and how about staying on topic. Nice screenies.
  4. Thanks a lot David. Much appreciated mate.
  5. Please Moe, there's no need to get defensive. You are of course entitled to your opinion - as is everyone. It wasn't in any way my intention to get into an argument with you or anyone else for that matter. I just wanted to point out that, in my humble opinion, there is a HUGE difference between the stock PMDG paints and the McPhat paints - that is all.I'm sorry you feel that I was attacking you - for that, I sincerly appologise, but as I said, it was in no way my intention to do so.
  6. I too spend a lot of time in the cockpit - one of theee reasons why I bought the NGX (no other addon gives you that feeling of realism, in my humble opinion), but If you go to "Screenshotworld.com" for example, you can see that not everyone has the same opinion as you and would gladly invest for some eye candy (myself included). Of course, this is all subjective and dependent solely on what type of experience the user is looking for - that goes without saying. The phrase: "each to their own" springs to mind..... I don't in any way mean to be rude to you (so please don't take it that way), but, you are joking right??? You need to get your eyes tested mate! I mean, no disrespect to Pete (who spent hours bringing us quality paintjobs and whom I thank for his efforts - aswell as others for that matter), but there is no way anyone who's being honest, who's made the effort to go and look at the screenshots on their forum and who has actually bothered to compare both paintjobs on their own pc would ever come to that conclusion! That's like comparing a top of the range Crysler with an Aston Martin! No contest......C'mon man, surely you can see the difference?
  7. Works fine for me, mate. Shame you can't get it to work - just as nice at night.
  8. I'm affraid I have to one trillion percent disagree with you there, Matheus mate, but I respect your opinion. :( Anyway, for those that are interested:Once again thanks go to all the McPhat team for their efforts and of course, to PMDG for making theee best addon for FSX. :(
  9. Same for me. Yeah, I have to agree with you there Ronny, Richard has done some done some outstanding work. My personal favorite is the Silver Southwest he did for us.Very nice screenshots, by the way mate.
  10. Lovely shots Jamaljé. :(
  11. Well, I believe that that's all a matter of opinion. Their UHDT's for the CS757 and S80 Pro are also second to none, imho. You just have to look at Soya's screenshots to be convinced of that (again, my opinion only). But I agree that this ranks up there with some of the best work they've ever produced. Then again, I'm a self-proclaimed McPhat fan, so you may think that I'm just being partial.....
  12. That is: http://www.megascenery.com (SOCAL).
  13. They've done it again! :( Fantastic skills from all at McPhat Studios. :(A big thank you guys for this brilliant freeware repaint. Much appreciated. :(
  14. Please guys, this conversation has nothing to do with Richard's Starliner repaint. Thank you for taking it elsewhere.
  15. The Ryanair Dreamliner looks fantastic too - great news! :(
  16. Quality shots guys - nice one. :(
  17. Guys, you could always install "Texture Max Load Editor" to save you the hastle of having to go back and forth to change the settings to 4096 every time: -------> http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=texture+max+load&CatID=root&Go=SearchDoes everything for you when FSX starts. Thanks are of course handed out to the uploader and the designer who's names I forget (appologies to them for my complete ignorance).
