June 2, 201016 yr Damn, I thought you meant the Sierra Nevada mountains in Southern Spain. I really want some decent scenery for there LOL.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
June 2, 201016 yr Author Naw, I'm sorry; this is California! But if you're into mountain flying, you might try this as well. You won't regret it. I've been flying in this region for hours and hours and discover new stunning views all the time. Just don't go up too far. For the best views stay below the mountain tops. When you cross a ridge and the abyss opens below you - oh oh oh. --------------------------- Blue Skies, Gottfried www.blueskyscenery.com

June 3, 201016 yr Author Hi,Gottfried Thank you for all the great scenery!!.....Question...Does this replace any older files that cover the same area?? I have Sierra Nevada already, but with different prefixes..(I have alot of your scenery already installed) Thanks LouHi Lou,Yes the new ones replace the old ones. The new ones (ChiliView Series) come in high resolution (1m/pix or 2m/pix based on 1m/pix, which is download friendlyand still much better than based on 2m/pix) and with much better colors. Also the coverage will be much larger. It already extendsinto Death Valley, Vegas and Utah all the way to Colorado. As long as the new ones don't cover the whole old Sierra area, simply install the new ones ona higher priority than the old ones. Once the area is complete you can remove the old ones. For me the Sierra Nevada's are the most beautiful mountains there are-Yosemite is pretty hard to top anywhere!Hi Geof,Yeah, same here! It's great mountain scenery. Most dramatic in low level flying (below mountain tops). Cruising at FL300 costs you a lot of 3D effect and detail. --------------------------- Blue Skies, Gottfried www.blueskyscenery.com
June 3, 201016 yr Commercial Member Looking good Gottfried ! Can I just ask what the plans are for the rest of Nevada and indeed the other areas? You seem to be jumping around a bit and personnally, I think it would be better if you had one area all joined up and finished ( so there is a nice big area covered ) rather than patches of spread out areas, which spoils the effect when you come to the edges, and you are back in crappy old FSX scenery... Just an idea...And thanks for the product! Cheers,Mark

Cheers,MarkHi Mark,I'm not jumping around, I' m moving on :-)I completed the Colorado Rockies, the Southern Utah Red Rock Region, the area around fabulous Las Vegas and now I'm moving on to California where I already cover Death Valley and now the Sierra Range. The new ChiliView stuff is one continuous and seamless (nice big in your words) region! You can fly in it for days and days and discover new things! I have always have the choice of completing a whole state and areas that IMHO are less interesting or moving on to more interesting regions. --------------------------- Blue Skies, Gottfried www.blueskyscenery.com
