June 3, 201016 yr Hello Bryan,I use AES, and therefore switched the AES button in the Main Panel to 'no'. However, AES stays active. No real problem, because, I don't think, AES and FS2crew interfere, for instance I can choose for a pushback by AES, or by FS2crew. Last one, is in my opinion more realistic. Question is: Is this AES button fake, or am I doing something wrong. Is it my (PF) task to switch on the Master Starter Switches. after the FO has started the engines? No problem, if so, but I'm curious when I should switch them on.I almost finished a flow sheet for FS2crew and the default 737, which tells the PF, what to do and goes through the checlists, at every stage of the flight. Every cycle in the Main Panel's display is written on a separate page. I know, there was a forum member, who alresdy did that before, and that was a real good idea. However, for me newbie, it was too much comprised. Perhaps there are simmers, who are interested in this flow too. Let me knowRegards,Henk

June 4, 201016 yr Author Bryan,AES: no real problem. It's nice to let AES takes care of the jetways, and FS2Crew does the pushback. AES and FS2crew, working together is great! My question, about the Master Starter Switches still stands. As for the flow chart: I really would appreciate, if you first would have a look at it. Being Dutch and a newbie with FS2crew, it should be good to make changes, improvements and so, before publishing it.If you would do that, can I send it to you, as soon I've finished it?Regards, Henk

June 5, 201016 yr Author Hi Bryan,Thanks for the answer. Sorry, but you understood me wrong. I was not talking about the Engine Start Switches in the overhead panel. They are properly controlled by the FO. I ment the Master Starter Switches. The are in the throttle panel, under the throttle levers. They are needed to fire up the engines. As far as I noticed: they are not controlled by the FO. How to handle those switches?

How to handle those switches?Hi,I see now. Those are always controlled by the Captain. In the 737 version, I modeled the SOPs from a European 737 operator, and the Captain positions the fuel levels during engine start, not the FO.In fact, I've never seen a 737 operator that has the FO set the fuel switches to run. It's pretty well always the Capt's job.Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
June 5, 201016 yr Author Thanks Bryan. No problem to do some work myself :( Now, I also know, in which stage I have to switch the levers, to make it more realistic.Regards, Henk
