3D Lights Redux messed up my water textures ?

Featured Replies

I have installed 3d lights redux, added the lines suggested by turbine777 to my pmdg 747 aircraft.cfg and now my water textures are all messed up.All reflections are gone ,the water looks flat and fs4ish and on top of that there are ugly white spots moving on the water surface.I'm not sure what happened. How do I fix this ?Can anyone advise ?Thanks,Vic

I have 3d lights and didn't experience any problems at all... are you sure you didn't do anything else (Shader mod, FS water configurator,...) because I can't see much connection between those two. I may be wrong though.

No shader mod and no fswater configurator. Actually , like you I think/thought 3rd lights has nothing to do with other programs but maybe the lights have something to do with water/light reflections so maybe that is water is messed up ?

What are your system specs? Like how much memory, proc, speed, gpu, etc.. white spots (on land, at least) is a gpu or memory symptom - I first had this after loading PNW, at the beginning of *******'s BP=0 experimentations...
