Looking at the cessna172 there is a red fuel cutoff pull-switch

A:GENERAL ENG FUEL VALVE:index perhaps? key event would be K:TOGGLE_FUEL_VALVE_ALL

Keyboard command is Ctrl-Shift-F4, IIRC.

Danny, Just an OH YEAH! :( to you. A quick check of the "non-used" but, required systems at startup is a good deal. For any designer just doing this would reduce "WHY's" in other forums... Yeah, I found I needed to add an initialisation routine as well to set up the fuel tanks and fuel valves. The main problem was when switching from another aircraft with a different fuel setup this would carry over into the new aircraft and cause problems (ie the engine stopping ).
