Just let me add one thing tough: if Boeing doesn't develop a new short-medium range soon, they'll stay behind. Not only Airbus, but Embraer (which is the third manufacturer in the world), Bombardier and that Chinese manufacture I always forgot the name. Does anyone know the name of it? Alfredo Terrero
June 16, 201015 yr That would probably be this thing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comac_C919 although of course the A320 is also now being assembled in China too, so it might not make it into production. Let's not forget the forthcoming Sukhoi Superjet as well, which will be a contender against the A318, A319 and the smaller 737 models, and may end up growing to be a bigger craft too.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
June 16, 201015 yr Author Thanks for the information chock. It looks like The hold Airbus and Boeing had on the short-medium range aircraft market is in more danger than I thought. Alfredo Terrero

AND the prospect of strong Domestic sales. "I'm an engineer!" http://www.cmdkewin.net/ (Out of Order) Eve: Since Beta Phase 2 Civilizazion Fan: Seems like forever... June 16, 201015 yr That's probably true enough with regard to production, but like the old Shenyang J-7 version of the MiG-21, it will probably not get much interest outside of China until they start offering Western avionics fits and engine options, which is something Israel often get involved in. Something the Russians found with the Il-96 and the Tu-204.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
