Well after reading many of your posts...I think I have put together a parts list for a system I can afford and overclock........would love your input and thoughts. CAS Latency 7 on the memory? I can't imagine that anyone would suggest a change to your list.

Like Art mentioned, check the CAS number on your ram, 6 is great, 7 is pretty good, 8 is okay, 9 is SLOW. I would recommend CAS6 or CAS7.

Fantastic...thanks a bunch guys....I really appreciate it!That Dominator memory above had a CAS of 8. I am seeing Mushkin Enhanced Redline 6GB 3x2 DDR3 1600...with a CAS of 6....does anyone know anything about this memory? I have heard that Mushkin is good and it has good reviews?.......Ooops...just saw the post in this forum on this memory....so I will add this to my list of parts.Thanks again guys.

Hi,I recently built my new FSX computer with the Mushkin Redline (6-8-6-24). So far the memory has been stable and it is fast. I bought it from a recommendation here and not disappointed. Bob..
