June 11, 201015 yr I thought I would check out FS9 again and noticed that the Terrain detail and water effects settings affect each other. Meaning when one is max'd the other one is on low. What is this? Is there a way to set them both max'd?W7 x64 FS9.1 is being used.

As far as I know, there is no way to change that behavior. It is the way it is programmed I presume.
June 12, 201015 yr Hello, What is this? Is there a way to set them both max'd?In fact .. when water is set max .. your terrain detail is also max (but not the slider position :) )Just make a test .. put your terrain detail to max (full right) and check the sim (the water setting will change automatically to lower)The terrain will be the same as with water set max.But you will lost water effects .AFAIKRegards.Gus.
