June 26, 201015 yr Suggestions on the best or possibly good 747-400 Payware panel.I see that Sim Market has one, but did not see any reviews on it's usability. FPS could be an issue. This is for FS9. And no, I won't hold anyone responsible for the suggestions/ideas :)I have the iFly 747 series, however I cannot use that panel with my VA Acft, although I have tried several times.Any suggestons would be appreciate.Thanks,Neil...irish3
June 26, 201015 yr four letters - PMDGbest 747 available. only 'large and heavy' iron better is PMDG's MD11.-- D. Scobie, feelThere support forum moderator: https://forum.simflight.com/forum/169-feelthere-support-forums/
June 26, 201015 yr Commercial Member Hello,The panel of the RFP 747 (Ready For Pushback) is also good.Regards.GusIt is very good but simulates the Classic 747Regards Rob Prest
June 26, 201015 yr Author Thanks guys, I already have the PMDG 747's, but was not aware I could grab that panel and use it in another 747.Cheers,Neil
June 26, 201015 yr Not sure about panel swapping the PMDG panel (I'm sure it can be done). But why not just use the PMDG plane to fly? It's simply the best 747-400 around.... Al Stiff
June 26, 201015 yr Author I agree, it is...however, sometimes I don't have the patience for the FMC :( Which of course is my own fault.Cheers,Neil
June 26, 201015 yr I don't have the patience for the FMC :( Which of course is my own fault.make the time. after a bit the FMS becomes faster than any of the FS GPS, or similar, flightplanners.i can get a FMC programmed in about 3-4 minutes.if you want real fun learn the CIVA INS! :( -- D. June 27, 201015 yr I have to agree with belga1, the RFP is a very good 747 panel. It was formerly payware. "Caution is the elder brother of wisdom"
June 27, 201015 yr I second the RFP 742 with CIVA INS. It only takes ~20min for the CIVA to start working is that too long to wait? :( If you want a less complex 744 maybe the iFly 744 would be better, I've never tried it to say whether it's any goodAlex

June 27, 201015 yr I think he said he already has the IFLY 747Oops I guess I should read more carefully next time! The PMDG does have too much automation for me. My last suggestion would be search around on the Posky forums to find if anybody has some panels for their models of the 741/2/3/4/8i/8F
