Stars.dat

Anyone know if the stars.dat file from the Boeing 314 web site work in FS9? I haven't flown at night yet but sitting on the runway checking systems it looks like FS9 has very few defaultstars just like FS2002 did.

Great! Another file to copy over from FS2002!

I have that file installed as well in 2002. Which folder is it in again inside 2002?

FS main folder, my good man :)Cheers,Paulhttp://www.strontiumdog.plus.com/sbird.jpgOfficially licenced by British Airways plc for use of name and logo[p]AMD XP2800+ Barton, Gigabyte GA-7NNXP nForce2, 1Gig Crucial PC3200 DDR 400MHz, Gainward 128 MB GF4-4200, SB Audigy, 3 x WD Caviar SE[/p]

They look great in FS9 to me as well. But I have another related question. Is there a way to control the "twinkle" rate in FS9. I would really like to reduce it if possible.Mike Bevington

And where exactly do you find this website and file?

>And where exactly do you find this website and file?A little bit of googling leads me here:http://b314clipper.com/I'll leave it to you to explore the site, since I want to give them a chance to pitch their plane to you.

I did a google search but all I got was a BUNCH of sites relating to the plane but none of them I could descern had anything to do with MSFS. I have explored the site you referenced but I still haven't found a stars.dat file. Will look some more.Ahh...Just found it :)
