June 30, 201015 yr My collection of 66 US locations available in AVSIM library now, filename is cycle_1007_sidstars.zipCycle 1007 is a minor update (half way through the 56-day full cycle) and there are not many updates to civilian procedures. However, if you haven't tried my collection of SIDSTARs yet I recommend giving them a try. The same stuff as from NAVIGRAPH except I add custom routing to get you to and from the runway or approach to the SID or STAR. No more discontinuities for vectors, and if you are using ATC then the original unmodified procedures are still in there.Happy contrails, Dan Downs KCRP
June 30, 201015 yr WOW! Thanks a lot...There's a ton of useful information there! Much appreciated! :(
July 1, 201015 yr Commercial Member I want to take a second to once again thank Dan for his dedication to these updates - the files are great and everyone should check them out! Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
July 1, 201015 yr Cool! But one question though. Do you have to update the NavData to 1007 in order for the SIDSTARS to work?
July 1, 201015 yr Commercial Member No, Dan defines all his fixes within the files so there's no need to have a current database. What I do is install the latest Navigraph set and then install Dan's files, overwriting the airports in the Navigraph set. This ensures everything is up to date, but it's not required to have the navigraph stuff. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
July 2, 201015 yr This link includes US and UK and surround FMC procedures to download at no cost:http://planepath.com/html/pmdg.htmlAfter installing these install Dan's.

July 2, 201015 yr Author Just to clarify, if there have been runway changes (new numbers or new runways) then this creates a need for sidstar and navdata information to be somewhat in sync. It's been months since this has been an issue. All the cycles are available back for almost four years in the AVSIM library. Select EXTENDED SEARCH, search AUTHOR=Dan Downs and sort results by date. Volia, the current is on top, and this works every cycle. Dan Downs KCRP
